Long-term
compressive stress is exerted in the prestressing concrete
structural components to offset the tensile stress brought
about by long-term service load in the components and to prevent
the concrete cracking. The main construction procedure of
post-tensioned concrete structure is: making hole, concrete
pouring, concrete curing, tendons election, tendons stressing
and anchor, grouting and sealing. The provisional and permanent
protection measures are all required in the acceptance recommendations
of post-tension prestressing system(FIP93), but structural
safety is still threatened during actual construction because
the bare strand generally used should be rusty if the mortar
grouted in the pipe is not compacted.
The continuous advancement of the prestressing technology
promotes the prestressing tendon develop to the direction
of high-strength, low relaxation, corrosion resistance. The
FECS has become a representative of high-strength strand of
anti-corrosion after a long research and engineering practice.
The grit-impregnated epoxy-coated strand can bond fully with
mortar grouted in the pipe relied on the grit embedded in
the epoxy coating and can ensure its anti-corrosion performance
at the same time. It would not be rusty even if the mortar
grouted is not compacted, so as to effectively guarantee the
structure¨s safety.
The unique FASTEN post-tension prestressing system is set
up with the girt-impregnated epoxy-coated strand and its corresponding
anchor system.
