¡¡The
arch bridge is one of important bridge with its low cost,
beautiful shape and strong adaptability in development history
of world bridges. Span of arch bridge is more than 550 meters
at present.
¡¡¡¡In
arch bridge, the horizontal force generated by arch is supported
entirely or partly by tie cables. As one of the important
components in arch bridge, tie cable should bear big horizontal
pull, and it was called life line of arch bridge. There are
two types of tie cable with rigid tie cable and flexible tie
cable. Arranged outside of structure, the flexible tie cable
made of high strength wires or strands generally is used as
external prestressing cable. Compared to stay cable in cable-stayed
bridge, the operating stress of flexible tie cable is about
0.5¦Òb.
¡¡¡¡There
were some bad examples of tie cable damaged in China. According
to these examples, the main reason is their inferior anti-corrosion
capability of existing tie cables. These tie cables would
break affected by stress corrosion and electrochemical corrosion
dually. It is the key point to solve the above question that
improve anti-corrosion capability of tie cable and design
according to load, anti-corrosion and construction.
¡¡There
are two types of FASTEN tie cable with XGK permanent and changeable
types, these two types are all multi-strands system. FASTEN
XGY permanent tie cable is a rigid tie cable buried in the
girder which is made of FECS.B girt-impregnated epoxy-coated
strand. FASTEN XGK changeable tie cable is a flexible tie
cable used outside of structure which is made of FECS.S or
FECS.SP, it can also used in external prestressing structure.
